As you know on March 12, 2017 the church building was destroyed in a tragic fire. Our congregation believes that God wants us to be there for all in our community who need a helping hand, an encouraging word or a place to feel loved and valued. In this increasingly chaotic and anxiety-filled world, He wants us to offer “the peace of God that passes all understanding”.
We are happy to announce that we are ready to begin to build a new, welcoming and comfortable church home for our community and invite you to join us on July 29 at 12:30 for our informal ground breaking ceremony (bring your own shovel!). This will be followed by refreshments in our present worship facility where plans for the new church will be on display.
And as always, all (we mean all!) are welcome to worship with us at 10:45 prior to the ceremony.
Blessings, The People of the Milford United Methodist Church
Please also note, this coming Wednesday, 25th, is the monthly Senior Meals Social. This has proved a very popular program, with usually 40-50 people in attendance. The Social is to be held once more in Milford, at the Wilber Park Pavilion. Let us all be in prayer for clear skies and warm weather!!!
