This week has been a week of settling in at the Parsonage, with a large hairy dog on loan from Dar, and Sarah Bullard, who will be staying with me.
Time Warner, after six days of shilly-shallyng about, finally connected us. But then Nyseg took it upon themselves to disconnect my electricity, so last night Sarah and I sat in candlelight. We were re-connected today, and my fingers and toes are firmly crossed that my easy going disposition can return after 24 hours of agitated, un-christian thoughts.
Saturday July 23rd 10-12 noon, we need volunteers to help move the contents of the library from downstairs to upstairs. If you can help, please sign up on Sunday morning.
Sunday July 24th, we have a guest preacher, Rev. David Lura. David and his wife Colleen, have traveled across the States to be here for the Hall of Fame Induction weekend. They will be guests of mine in the Parsonage.
Many many thanks to Bob Moore, Bill Triolo, Pam and Al Dubreuil, Russell Freer and Dennis Cotten, and to all those who have donated time, furniture or household items. It has been a real team effort, and I appreciate each and every one of you.
Blessings in abundance to one and all.
I look forward to seeing your smiling faces on Sunday morning.
